Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone in our program receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement.
City Park, Denver (between Ferril Lake and the Museum of Nature and Science)
Girls, coaches, and families will need to find their team sign at the Meet & Greet Area. The Meet & Greet is organized by school name and broken out into corrals in the start chute area located adjacent to the zoo. More information to come!
Your girl is ALREADY registered for the race. Parents/guardians MUST register to run the 5K alongside their GOTR participant. Online registration is open until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 13. Registration is $29 online+processing fees and $34 on race day.
*Please note that Girls on the Run participants’ bibs will be handed out by their coaches at their team signs on race day.
NOTE: Program participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and DO NOT need to register.

PACKET / BIB PICK UP INFORMATION
Girl Bib Pick Up: Coaches will have participants race bib and distribute on race day. Parents CANNOT pick up girls’ bibs early.
Early Bib Pick Up: Available May 15 from 1:00 - 7:00 PM at Empower Field at Mile High
Race Day Bib Pick Up: Available May 16 at City Park starting at 9:00 AM. Located near the meadow area east of the finish line and spectator stands.
PARKING, DIRECTIONS, ROUTE INFORMATION & MORE
Location / Meet & Greet Area: Start Chute -Meet & Greet. Look for the START line on the road just south of the zoo.
Parking: Colfax 5K has no official parking, we strongly suggest using public transportation or carpooling. Parking is availbe around City Park and along neighborhood street. There will street closures along 17th Street.

Water Stop: Water will be available on the course at mile 2 and at the finish line. If you feel like you will need additional water during the run, please plan on carrying a water bottle or hydration vest. Spectators are asked to bring their own water to this event.
