Race of the Month
In an effort to encourage Girls on the Run participants to continue running, Girls on the Run of the Rockies has started a Race of the Month Club. Past and current Girls on the Run participants and their friends and families can join us at the featured “race of the month.” Look for our Girls on the Run Booth at the race. Come by and say “hi”!
You will need to register for the race. Registration details are listed below. And, let us know if you are planning on running the event. Email us at kara.lorenzen@girlsontherun.org. Make sure to tell us which race you are running.
Keep track of the events you run. Send us 3 or more race bibs with your name and address and we will send you a special Girls on the Run Race of the Month Club award. (Send to: Girls on the Run Rockies, 515 Albion St., Denver, CO 80220). And, don’t forget to wear your Girls on the Run T-shirts.

Set in the mountains west of Denver, the course begins and ends at Chow Down Pet Supplies in the Bergen Village. The course meanders through the picturesque Bergen Park area of Evergreen, Colorado. This event not only allows dogs, it encourages you to include them in the fun. Post-race festivities will include refreshments, music, food and pet-friendly merchandise and services offered for your perusal. Pet/Person contests to follow the race.

Join us for the 2012 Stadium Stampede – the summer event that has something for everyone. There will be cash awards for top finishers, great events, food & beer, kids activities, live music, great prizes and a fitness expo. Both 10K and 5K courses start out at Sports Authority Field and wind their way around the outside perimeter of the stadium before heading out onto the Platte River pathway and then make their way back through the stadium - where you will see yourself on the ThunderVision big screen – and finish just outside the entrance.
