Colfax 5K FAQs

Bibs:

  • Girls on the Run Program Participant bibs are with their coaches, they DO NOT need to go to bib pick-up.

  • All Community Registered Runners need to pick up their bib at bib pick-up.

  • Runners must have a bib to be on the course.

  • If you would like to run, please go register at the registration tents! Price is $34 - cash or card accepted.

  • A child in a stroller does not need their own bib, but if they are on their own two feet, they need to be registered.

Girls on the Run Program Participant Materials:

  • Medals will be distributed to girls at their team’s end of season celebration. There are no medals being distributed today!

  • Participant bibs are with their coaches at their team sign!

Where is my GOTR girl supposed to meet her team?

All Girls on the Run program participants will meet their team in the Meet & Greet area. Site names are alphabetical starting with A closest to the START line. The easiest way to find your team is to FIND THE CORRAL they are in and then look for your team sign. Corrals are listed HERE.

Do I have to wait in line to pick up my GOTR girl’s bib?

No! All GOTR participants’ bibs will be with their coach at their team sign in the Meet & Greet area. CLICK HERE for a map that shows the Meet & Greet. If any non-GOTR girl or coach participants are running in the race, they must pick up their own bib at the Bib Pick Up tents located near Registration.

Can I register on race day?

Yes! Visit the Race Day registration tents to register on race day. Cash or card is accepted and race day registration costs $34 per runner.

I am a community runner (any non GOTR participant/coach), how do I know what corral I am supposed to run in?

You can run in any corral you like. If you are here to support a GOTR girl or team, please find their team in the start chute.

I’m here really early. What can I do?

We have Happy Hair and Cheer Cards available for participants that would like to add some more color to their outfit and for families that would like to make signs to encourage their participants! The Happy Hair and Cheer Card Stations are located east of the start chute.

I’m here really late and don’t think I’ll be able to find my team!

Your participants bib will be at their team sign. Please pin it to their belly before beginning the race (you can start with any corral). If your participant does not have someone to run with, please stop by the Running Buddies tent, the pink tent located by Registration/Bib Pick Up.

Where can I get water?

Water is provided for all race participants after Mile 1 on the course and in the finish chute. We ask that spectators bring their own water.

Where can I watch my girl run? Where is the best place to see my girl on the race route?

Scroll down to view a map of the course. Spectators are welcome to cheer participants on at any point but they MUST stay off the actual course for the safety of everyone involved. There are bleachers for spectators near the finish line.

Where do I meet my participant after the race?

Plan to meet your runner(s) near the finish chute OR back at their team sign. DO NOT cross into or through the finish line chute.
