Event Details

The Girls on the Run 5K is a community event that celebrates the end of our program’s fall season. Girls on the Run is an after-school program for 3rd - 8th graders that uses the power of running to teach critical life skills like being confident, understanding emotions, navigating conflict, forming friendships, and goal-setting. Completing a 5K is one of those goals! Community members are invited to join the fun by registering to participate or cheering the girls on as they pass by!

Impact & Road Closures

We are anticipating over 3,000 participants at our event. All parking for attendees will be at Empower Field. Our course requires official road closures that will be facilitated by Denver Police. 

All road closures will be rolling and regulated by DPD with the exception of the West side of Mile High Stadium Circle which will be completely closed from 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 10th.

Event start time: 10:00 AM

Event end time: 12:00 PM
